Stainless steel 304 Grade mandrel bends, commonly used in exhaust fabrication or repair. No reduction in diameter when compared with press-bent options. Measured by the outside diameter (OD).

Stainless steel generally lasts longer than mild steel or aluminised coated mild steel. While it may cost slightly more than mild steel or aluminised steel, the life of the product is generally extended, if not scratched or damaged. Stainless Steel can also be polished, if a polished finish is desired.

Stainless steel is excellent for harsher environments i.e. salt water, where mild steel is known to rust quickly.
