Shipping policy
We ship our products all over Australia, utilising warehouses in Tasmania, New South Wales and Victoria.
We despatch orders from each of these locations based on stock availability and your proximity, to minimise freight costs and lead times.
Our aim is to provide the best customer service possible.
All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates
We are able to offer very competitive shipping rates no matter where you are in Australia. Orders are generally shipped using TNT (FedEx) or Australia Post (small orders only).
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated based on total order weight and displayed at checkout. As a guide, shipping rates Australia wide start at $10-15 for small orders (up to 3kg), $25-45 for medium orders (up to 20kg), and $55-95 for large orders (20kg to more than 60kg).
Some large and heavy items such as pilot vehicle signs and mufflers have separate freight charges.
Any orders sent with TNT (FedEx) must have a business address or residential address that is able to accept deliveries during normal business hours (8:00am - 5:00pm Monday-Friday), or redelivery charges will apply. Additionally, if no business address is provided we will contact you before despatch as residential delivery charges may apply.
Shipping timeframes Australia wide are 2-8 days. These are estimates only and may be faster than specified.
If you require express shipping to your location, please contact us for a quote. We have several express freight options available, including 'Overnight Express' but as we cannot currently guarantee delivery times we do not list this option online.
International Shipping
Yes, we ship internationally but are not responsible for the collection of any taxes or duties for countries outside Australia.
We use Sendle for international shipping services, and the rates are calculated by this provider. Please contact us if you have any questions or would like an alternative quote from TNT (FedEx) or Australia Post.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 7 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at sales@ultimax.com.au with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
Shipping to PO Boxes
At this time, we generally do not ship to PO Boxes due to the size and weight of most of the products we supply, as well as the couriers and carriers we mainly utilise (FedEx, TNT and local couriers). If this is an issue, please contact us at sales@ultimax.com.au and we will determine a more suitable method to ship your order, e.g. Australia Post.
Refunds, returns, and exchanges
We accept change of mind returns up to 7 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs. You are responsible for the return shipping costs.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at sales@ultimax.com.au with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
