Adaptors, Reducers & Couplers

Adaptors, also known as reducers, enable you to transition from one pipework size to another. Tapered cones are also available, which generally provide a larger and more gradual transition, but lack the straight tube sections either side. 

Single couplers have an expanded end (ID is same as OD of non-expanded end) - one end is generally welded to tube, with the expanded end a slip or clamp joint. Double couplers are joiners - they enable you to join two lengths of the same OD tube together, with no welds (both ends are clamped).
