The Silverback 350C Chrome range of stacks is designed to suit older style trucks that are not fitted with advanced emissions control systems such as Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF), Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR), Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) or AdBlue. No warranty will apply to the chrome stacks if used on later model trucks with these systems.
The Silverback 350C range differs from the Blue Diamond range of stacks in that they are made in the USA, and finished with a unique polishing process - resulting in a chrome that is easier to maintain.
For later model trucks (excluding cab-overs) running SCR motors the 350C Series can be used by adding the AdBlue upgrade. This is then covered by a 12 month warranty against corrosion in the right application.
If your truck is fitted with a DPF, exhaust gases will run hotter and you will need a stack from the Silverback Chrome 650C Series range, with an internal insert sleeve.
