LED Spiral Mine Whip - Red

Mine Whips or Safety Flags are used to alert drivers of larger machines to the presence of smaller vehicles (or light vehicles) when sharing zones in environments such as mines, quarries & freight terminals. 

These are imperative in mining situations, as they can prevent damage to machinery/equipment and/or injury to people. Therefore, reducing insurance claims and downtime.

Available in a variety of Lengths, these come standard with quick release base, however other style bases are available eg spring base, fixed base, magnetic base, anti rotational fold down base - these are to be purchased separately.

Please note it is important to note that Full Pole LED Buggy Whips are not designed for use at highway speeds. We recommend using them only at low speeds while onsite.

We would advise that if you are doing highway speeds that you use the Quick Release Base to remove the Buggy Whip from the vehicle and only re-connect it when you are back on site.

We do also have Fold Down Bases available, these allow the Buggy Whips to be folded down to a 45 or 90 degree angle. These are ideal if you want to leave the Whip on the vehicle when driving at high speeds. Info on this product can be found Here.
