Nelson OEM mufflers reduce exhaust noise to the level required to meet EPA truck noise limits and Victorian regulations.
OEM models can be quieter (more then 3 dBA) than Nelson economy versions, depending on make of engine. Each features:
- Unpainted aluminised steel construction (1.6mm wall)
- Welded seams for added longevity
- Outlet end of muffler is domed for vertical installation
- Inlet end of muffler is flat, for ease of mounting onto existing brackets
- 4 year manufacturer warranty.
The semi-baffled design is suitable for a wide range of engines, and is a quieter option than straight through mufflers, without being too restrictive - has a good flow rate, and is often used as a silent partner equivalent.
